Let me put this in the perspective of the managing classroom behaviour.
If you have a big voice (like me) you can very intimidating to kids. And that CAN work. For some kids intimidation might bring them back to task.
But, if all you have is a big voice to intimidate kids, you might assume that EVERY situation looks it NEEDS intimidation.
BUT that might NOT be the truth.
For some kids, intimidation is just the trigger they need to TAKE YOU ON!
So, develop a wide repertoire of behaviour techniques and learn to apply them.
